My U Of U Talk Plus 5 year anniversary!

This last week I had the opportunity to speak with 30 doctors and genetic counselors about my experience with the MOMS study. It was really a neat experience. If I can help another family give there child a better life I will speak as many times as I need to. It was incredible to look out and see a few doctors shedding tears. I was strong and did not cry and tried not to get to choked up. It is hard because it was such an emotional experience for me to not get choked up. My parents were there to support me. They are my number one fans. Love them! The talk went great! Every one was super interested in the surgery and had lots of questions. I was telling them that Primary's said he will be a walker and they told us that usually spina bifida kids don't move there ankles and feet. But Tyson does and they were very impressed by that. As I am telling them that Tyson started move his feet all around. My mom was holding him and everyone starting laughing and saying he is showing off. What a cutie!

Yesterday Day was Jared and I's Big 5 Year anniversary. Where did time go. I love you Babe!
